BIG X Hong Leong Bank

In October 2022, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) launched its brand-new proprietary premium large format (PLF) screen called GSC BIG Hall, in partnership with Hong Leong Bank (HLB). The aim of this collaboration was to provide an enhanced viewing experience for cinema-goers.

The cinema screen featured dimensions of over 20 metres in width and 10.8 metres in height, a 4k laser projector, a 32-channel multi-speaker Dolby Atmos surround sound setup, and spacious seating. Selected BIG halls even offered recliners and D-BOX motion seats for an enhanced viewing experience. In celebration of this launch, HLB offered exclusive deals and chances to win prizes to customers who applied for a HLB credit card, opened a HLB account, or spent a minimum of RM200 on their HLB card at The Starling Mall. There were also booths at selected GSC BIG halls where movie-goers could take pictures, play games, and win exclusive prizes.
