This film is an adaptation of Umay Shahab's song of the same title. It marks his third film as a director and in addition to directing, he also stars in this film. Meanwhile, Iqbaal Ramadhan plays a leading role and serves as the executive producer. He is well-known for his portrayal of Dilan in Dilan 1990 (2018). Umay chose the title 'Perayaan Mati Rasa' for its deep significance, emphasizing that all feelings deserve celebration. In addition to exploring family dynamics, this film also highlights the friendships among the members of the Midnight Serenade band, which includes Ian Antono (Iqbal Ramadhan), Ray Alvero (Devano Danendra), Saka Wijaya (Dul Jaelani) and Dika Ardana (Randy Danistha).
