Offers & Events :: Golden Screen Cinemas Online

In line with the Selangor and Penang State Government's 'No Plastic Bag Day' campaign, no plastic bag will be given out in GSC Cinemas in both states (see list below) on selected days. In the event customer requested for the plastic bags on the 'No Plastic Bag Day', a 20 cents will be charged for every plastic bag.

Starting from 21st June 2010 onwards, GSC Oxo-Biodegradable Plastic Bag will be used in all GSC Concession Counters.

Participating GSC cinemas:

Selangor (Saturday and Sunday)

GSC 1 Utama (PJ), GSC Tropicana City (PJ), GSC IOI Mall (Puchong), GSC Summit (USJ) and GSC Shaw Centrepoint (Klang).
Funds collected will be channeled to the WWF-Malaysia.

Penang (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)

GSC Gurney Plaza, GSC Queensbay Mall and GSC Sunway Carnival (Seberang Jaya).
Funds collected will be channeled to Partners Against Poverty Fund.
