WALT DISNEY STUDIOS MOTION PICTURES MALAYSIA teamed up with Tropicana City Mall and Hitz FM morning crew DJs, Ean and JJ with a fun activity "UP, UP AND AWAY" whereby the public was given a chance to guess the NUMBER OF BALLOONS NEEDED TO LIFT EAN 'UP'.

The event was held at the main entrance of TROPICANA CITY last Saturday (15th of Aug). Both the HITZ FM morning crew DJ, Ean and JJ were there early to give away 'UP' premiums and special movie tickets while the balloon crew made the necessary preparations to finally lift EAN 'UP'. Free ice-cream was also given out for the crowd and they waited to see EAN in the air and some even signed up to go up on the balloon ride. No doubt, both DJs gave some tips as the the closest guess will win a trip for two (2) to Perth, Australia to enjoy a big hot air balloon ride.

This event marks a first as this the first time a man is lifted 'UP' by rubber balloons in Malaysia. After a few attempts, Ean - weighing 75kg at 5.6 feet was finally lifted off the ground with 910 pieces of helium inflated 2 feet balloons and float up to approximately 35 feet. JJ took his turn thereafter, with screams of cheers and support from eager guests and shoppers who attended the event.

Once both the DJs had their chance of being lifted up, complimentary balloon lift-ups were made available to the public. The event ended with a special screening of Disney/Pixar's 'UP' at GSC Tropicana City Mall.
