A. GSC Membership

1. How do I register as a member?

  • Click on the "Register Now" icon at the main page of the website to sign up as a member and discover the rewards and benefits especially for GSC website members.
  • Check out member's perks right here now!

    2. How can I edit my member's profile?

  • Log on to the website with your login user ID & password and click on the "Edit Profiles" icon at the main page of the website to edit or update your profiles.

    3. What should I do if I have forgotten my Member User ID and/or password?

  • If you have forgotten your User ID, you will need to re-register yourself. However, if you have forgotten only your password, you may retrieve it by clicking on "Password Retrieval" and follow the instructions.

    B. General Information

    4. Tell me more about GSC's Gold Class hall?

  • The Gold Class hall is one of GSC's Unique Selling Point (USP), where GSC is the first in Malaysia to offer the Gold Class hall to the public.
  • Gold Class is only available in GSC Mid Valley, GSC 1 Utama & GSC Signature @ The Gardens. Tickets can be purchased via Box Office of the respective locations or e-payment Ticketing.
  • Advance sales starts two (2) days before the date of screening.

    5. What are "Twin Seats"?

  • "Twin Seats" are unique seats which are sold in pairs and only available in GSC Mid Valley, GSC 1 Utama, GSC Gurney Plaza, GSC Summit USJ and GSC Cheras Leisure Mall.
  • No reservation is allowed for GSC "Twin Seats" and no single seats will be sold.
  • "Twin Seats" are sold via our Box Office only and an additional charge of RM2 is imposed on prevailing ticket price.

    6. Where are GSC Signature F&B outlets and Glitters Café & Merchandising located?

  • Aside from a luxurious movie experience, the wide array of culinary delights from three uniquely themed dining establishments is another GSC Signature @ The Gardens, Mid Valley star attraction. On the main floor is Café Caro, where you can relax with light snacks and beverages in its contemporary lounge ambience. Paradiso on the upper floor is an epicurean adventure set to tantalise any tastebuds. And finally, step into the Dessert Bar on the Mezzanine Floor to satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious cakes, desserts and pastries.

    Also, do check out Glitters Café in GSC Pavilion KL, GSC 1 Utama (New Wing) and GSC Gurney Plaza (Penang) where you can feast on a fine selection of your favourite cuisines and tempting desserts.

    For movie merchandise and premium gifts, you can visit Glitters Merchandising at GSC 1 Utama (New Wing), GSC Mid Valley and GSC Gurney Plaza (Penang). We will be expanding our movie merchandising store to more GSC locations in the very near future. Movie fans will surely be delighted to find the varieties of items available for friends and family, which includes board games, toys, collectibles, t-shirts, stationeries, decorative items and more.

  • Click on the "Birthday Coupon" icon at the main page of the website to get your GSC Birthday Coupon Treat.

    8. Is the Birthday Coupon valid for Gold Class, Premiere Class and Twin Seats?

  • Birthday Coupon is only valid for Normal Seats.

    9. How can I enjoy Senior Citizen rates?

  • Senior Citizen rates are applicable to patrons who are 55 years old and above and they only need to produce their I.C. when they purchase movie tickets.

    10. How can I enjoy student rates?

  • In order to enjoy student movie ticket pricing, please produce your student identification card and/or customer must be in school uniform.

    11. What is Digital hall?

  • The Digital halls showcase movies in digital 3-D and 2-D featuring the Dolby Digital Cinema System with outstanding Dolby full surround audio quality and reliability. The Dolby Digital Cinema allow movie goers to be engaged in a much richer and compelling manner in terms of realism.

    12. What is the difference between Digital 2D and 35mm?

  • The Digital 2-D projection promises higher resolution images and state-of the art digital sound as the overall quality does not degrade over time as with the 35mm film format.

    C. GSC Ticket Reservation

    13. Are there extra charges for tickets reservation in all GSC Cinemas?

  • Presently, extra charges for ticket reservation is only applicable for tickets reservation made for GSC Mid Valley, GSC Berjaya Times Square & GSC Pavilion KL.

    14. If I reserve GSC movie tickets for GSC Mid Valley, can I collect my tickets in other GSC cinemas?

  • GSC movie tickets booked at the selected GSC Cinema MUST be collected at the selected location only.

    15. Can I collect my reserved movie tickets prior to the date of screening?

  • Reserved movie tickets can be collected from the selected GSC Cinema prior to the date of screening as long as it is 45 minutes before show time.

    D. GSC e-payment Ticketing

    Online Ticket Purchase

    16. What do I need to do to start using GSC e-payment Ticketing?

  • You need to register as a member of the GSC website at www.gsc.com.my. If you are already a member, just update your details and log in. Click on "e-payment Ticketing" and follow the instructions.

    17. Which of GSC cinemas have GSC e-payment Ticketing?

  • Currently this service is available at:
    GSC Mid Valley, KL
    GSC Signature @ The Gardens, KL
    GSC 1 Utama, KL
    GSC Pavilion, KL
    GSC Berjaya Times Square, KL
    GSC Gurney Plaza, Penang
    GSC Queensbay, Penang

    Gradually it will be extended to other GSC cinemas.

    18. Can I choose my own seats through GSC e-payment Ticketing?

  • Yes, you can, depending on availability.

    19. Can I use vouchers or passes through GSC e-payment Ticketing?

  • Vouchers and passes are not accepted through the e-payment Ticketing. Kindly go to the box office counters for any purchase with vouchers and passes.

    20. Are child, senior and student tickets available through GSC e-payment Ticketing?

  • Yes, they are. You can also purchase twin seats and Gold Class ticket(s) through GSC e-payment Ticketing.

    21. How many tickets can I purchase through GSC e-payment Ticketing?

  • You may purchase up to a maximum of 12 tickets per transaction.

    22. If I do not receive the Confirmation ID status page from GSC after payment, where can I check my transaction history?

  • If you do not receive the Confirmation ID status page from GSC after payment, kindly click on the E-payment ticketing again and you will be able to view your Booking Status if your transaction is successful.

    23. What payment methods can I use for GSC e-payment Ticketing?

  • You may only use Visa and Mastercard credit cards. However, please check with the respective banks to ensure that you are allowed to make online purchases using your credit cards.

    24. What do you mean by "Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure code"?

  • Some credit cards are 3D Secured. This means that before confirming your online purchase, you will be asked for a personal password or details for verification purposes that you are the owner of the card. Take note this feature applies to certain banks only. Please check with your bank first to find out if your credit card is 3D Secured.

    25. How many transactions can I make using my credit card?

  • You are allowed a maximum of 2 (TWO) transactions per credit card. If you have two credit cards, then you can make 4 transactions.

    26. While using GSC e-payment Ticketing, I will be disclosing my credit card number. How can I be sure that the transaction is secure and my card number will not be disclosed to anyone?

  • GSC e-payment Ticketing uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. The data that is encrypted would ensure data privacy and data integrity.

    27. If I have any disputes on GSC e-payment Ticketing charges made to my credit card, who should I contact?

  • Please email us at custserv@gsc.com.my and provide us with your name, credit card number, transaction date, contact details, cinema location, show date, show time and name of film.

    28. What should I do if I realized that I had purchased the wrong ticket(s) after the payment process has been completed?

  • Please check the details of your transaction before pressing the [ACCEPT] button on the "Terms & Condition" box to confirm. You are not allowed to cancel the purchase or change movie/show time/seats once you press the [PAY] button to proceed with the payment process.

    29. Are there any additional charges for purchasing ticket(s) online?

  • At present, there will be a non-refundable RM0.50 charge per ticket for every successful transaction made through GSC e-payment Ticketing. Exception will be for Gold Class booking fee which is at RM1.00 per ticket.

    Collection

    30. After purchasing my ticket(s) online, where & when can I collect the ticket(s)?

  • You may collect your movie ticket(s) from the kiosk at the cinema. If there is a problem with collecting tickets from the kiosk, kindly approach any of our Box Office staff and they will assist you. For locations where there is no kiosk, please collect your ticket(s) at the designated counters.

    31. What do I need to do to retrieve my purchased ticket(s)?

  • You will need to bring along the credit card which was used to purchase the ticket(s) online earlier. Please do remember your Confirmation ID. We may also require your identity card for verification purposes.

    32. What if I had forgotten to bring my credit card with me?

  • You will need to have your credit card with you for verification and to enable you retrieve your movie tickets.

    33. I want to buy tickets online on behalf of my child/friend/relative. Can they come to collect the tickets if they present my credit card?

  • We recommend that you collect the tickets in advance and distribute them to your child/friend/relative. The credit card holder has to present the credit card at the time of ticket collection to avoid fraud.

    34. Can I use credit cards of different designs and sizes to purchase and retrieve my ticket(s)?

  • No. Our kiosk machine only recognizes credit cards of standard size and shape. Anything else will result in the credit card being rejected or stuck in the machine. If your credit card is of non standard size and shape, kindly approach any of our Box Office staff and they will assist you.

    35. What should I do if my ticket(s) is/are not printed by the kiosk machine or my credit card gets stuck in the kiosk machine?

  • Please contact any of our staff at the location to assist you in retrieving your tickets and credit card.

    36. If I am not able to pick up the ticket(s) which I purchased online, will my credit card account be charged?

  • Once the online ticket purchase payment process has been successfully completed, your credit card will be immediately charged.
